The Trial sign up process is simple.

Windows Instructions

1. Make sure you’re signed in on the admin account for the Windows computer that you’re on.
2. Hit the “download” button above, and your trial will begin downloading immediately.
3. Once the download is complete, open the file and walk through the Microsoft installation process. (Getting a C++ error? Here’s what to do.)
4. Once installed, make sure your display settings are correct.
5. Launch the program and select Start Free Trial.
6. You’ll be asked to register for the trial. Once the registration form is complete, you’re done!
7. Want to continue using MediaShout 7 beyond the length of the trial period? Great. All you need to do is purchase a license.

System Requirements

Minimum (for building presentations):

• • Windows 10 (64 bit only) or Windows 11

• Control Screen Resolution of 1280×720 or higher
• Dedicated graphics card (Nvidia or AMD) w/512mb DDR3 VRAM (Suggested Cards) or recent Intel UHD Graphics (Kaby Lake or better)
• Any Intel or AMD CPU support by current release of Windows 10 or 11
• 4GB ram

Recommended (for optimal presenting):

• Windows 10 (64 bit only) or Windows 11
• Control screen resolution of 1600×900 or higher
• Dedicated graphics card (Nvidia or AMD) w/4GB DDR5 VRAM (Suggested Cards)
• Intel i3-10100 CPU or better (Anything with an 8000+ score in this list should work well)
• Windows boot drive using SSD (SATA or M.2)
• 8GB DDR4 ram (or better)

*MediaShout 7 has been recently updated to a newer Song Database file. This file will only work with Windows 10 and Later. For Windows 7 and Windows 8 users, an alternate download is available that does not have the new Song Database file implemented. If needed, you can download this HERE.

Mac Instructions

1. Hit the “download” button above, and your trial will begin downloading immediately.
2. Once the download is complete, run the .dmg installer package.
3. Make sure your display settings are correct:
   1. Go to System Preferences
   2. Go to Mission Control and make sure “Displays have separate spaces” is unchecked.
   3. Back in System Preferences, click on Displays then the “Arrangement” tab from the middle
   4. Make sure the check box for “Mirror Displays” is unchecked in the lower left corner
4. Once installed, launch the program and select Start Free Trial.
5. You’ll be asked to register for the trial. Once the registration form is complete, you’re done!
6. Want to continue using MediaShout 6 beyond the length of the trial period? Great. All you need to do is purchase a licence.

System Requirements for MediaShout 6 for Mac:

Recommended (for optimal presenting):

• OS Mojave (10.14) and up
• 2.5 GHz or higher processor
• 4 GB of RAM
• Nvidia or AMD Video Card with 512 MB of dedicated Video RAM
• 650 MB of hard drive space

*MediaShout 6 for Mac has been recently updated for compatibility with Mac OS Mojave, Catalina, and Big Sur. It is not yet optimized for OS Monterey. For compatibility with MediaShout 6, please wait to update your OS until otherwise posted. *For users of Mac OS El Capitan (10.11) to High Sierra (10.13), an alternate download is available, but no longer officially supported.
