Today’s in-ear monitoring solutions still rely on balanced armature drivers – technology borrowed from hearing aids. Balanced armature drivers split the frequency range across multiple drivers, which can introduce phase issues and other unwanted anomalies.
Sennheiser has redesigned the single dynamic driver principle for in-ear monitoring, changing the landscape for musicians, sound engineers and DJs. Our new TrueResponse technology easily covers the entire frequency range with a single driver. No cross-over effects or phase differences occur. Sound stays distortion-free, eliminating acoustical stress for professionals. The sound image remains natural and differentiated even at the highest sound pressure levels and has real punch, even in the loudest surroundings. These new in-ear monitor headphones offer a simple promise: “More me” – improving the way you perform by enhancing the way you hear.
The advantages of Sennheiser’s TrueResponse technology at a glance:
- One extra-wideband transducer covering the entire frequency range
- Phase linearity – phase differences are non-existent
- Truly distortion free with only < 0,06 % total harmonic distortion
- Free of cross-over effects
- A natural and differentiated signal provides a precise sound image
- True punch – audible in demanding environments
- Able to withstand higher sound pressure levels
- Ultra-lightweight and compact design of the ear mould
